Also in close proximity is Belmont Blvd. which runs parallel to 12 Avenue South. Although mostly residential (and thus a great place to take long walks or go for a jog as many folks do), Belmont boasts a few great places to eat and see and so I couldn't leave it out. Or if walking isn't your thing, hop in the car and you'll be to any of these places in about 2 minutes flat. Just watch out for cyclists and use your share-the-road etiquette when crossing the bike lane.

INTERNATIONAL MARKET II
The Backstory: The original International Market opened 45 years ago in a small retail space that was demolished when the new Belmont Fisher Center for the Performing Arts was built. The son & daughter of the original owners still own/operate and cook for the restaurant. We recommend checking their Instagram @imnashville for instructions on reservations, hours, etc. |
ASSORTED FAST FOOD

The Belmont Student Cafeteria also features a Chick-Fil-A inside that everyone (not just students!!) is welcome to frequent (note that hours may vary seasonally with the school year.). Chatime and 615 Deli are also located just across the street from the Belmont Bookstore. |
